Readership Down

Unfortunately, readership is down dramatically at this site. Sissy says it's because Bachelor In Paradise is back on, but I suspect it's because I'm not posting any stories. My thought was that if I wrote one good story a week, people would come back and read it five or six times (also, I had a job so that's all the time I had).

I'm pretty sure my thinking is correct but also realize Sissy may be on to something - Bachelor In Paradise has the steamy sex appeal that many people want today. The obvious answer is to combine my concise and informative stories with images that appeal to today's audience. In fact, what the story says probably isn't even important if the image is compelling. It could be just several paragraphs of blather about readership or even a story about writing a story.

While it will be interesting to see how this new editorial policy plays out with the public, one thing will never change here - integrity. That and honesty. Two things.
